Enhancing Order Fulfillment: Introducing Brightpearl and Infoplus Integration for Advanced Address Mapping

We're thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our order fulfillment process, designed to streamline your operations and boost customer satisfaction. We introduce the integration of Brightpearl Delivery Address Name Mapping with Infoplus Ship-To Address, aiming to simplify your order processing.

In the configuration settings (default section), we will introduce a new mapping feature with two options:


1. Map Brightpearl Billing and Shipping Address Name with Infoplus (New Customer)
: When you create a Sales Order in Brightpearl for a new customer with different Invoice and delivery addresses, each having a distinct name, these details will sync with the Infoplus customer address and Ship-To address, respectively. Refer to the attached screenshot for more details.

2. Map Brightpearl Address Name with Infoplus (New Customer): When you create a Sales Order in Brightpearl for a new customer with a different delivery address, the name associated with this address will sync with the Infoplus Ship-To address. The delivery address stays the same, but the name is sourced from Brightpearl's customer address. Refer to the attached screenshot for more details.

Important Note

  1. Default Setting and Current Functionality: When creating a Sales Order for either an existing or a new customer, the following process is standard: If you choose not to enable this specific mapping in the configuration settings, the system will operate as follows - it will automatically use the customer's address name from Brightpearl and synchronize it with the Infoplus Ship-To address. The Delivery address will remain as in Brightpearl; however, the name associated with this address will be derived from Brightpearl's customer address and reflected in the Ship-To address in Infoplus. For visual guidance, please refer to the attached screenshot.

This mapping will become effective for all new and future orders once you select the option in the mapping settings.

FAQ

Will this impact existing mappings if I'm not using the new feature?

  • By default, the system will continue using the customer address name from Brightpearl for the Infoplus Ship-To address, along with Brightpearl's delivery address. There will be no impact unless you opt to use the new setting.

Will there be any downtime during implementation?

  • There will be no downtime when the feature is implemented.
